When I am not out training or racing somewhere around the world,  I am usually at work in Christchurch as a Mechanical test engineer. This involves breaking stuff and figuring out how to make it better.  The two subjects of outdoor sports and Engineering work well together and I often get asked advice on all sorts of gear I use.
