Checked out the course, plan complete, gear is sorted, numbers pinned on. Off to bed now, but in the morning it will be all on for the 2014 World Mountain Running Champs. I am looking forward to it with some nevousness and apprehenion but thats the normal pre race jitters. The course is quite technical after the first 3km so I will hopefully be in a good place mentally and physically when i can start attacking the course.

Anyway here is a link to the webpage, no GPS tracking like orienteering, and not sure if there is live results either… everything in Italy seems black and white but its not always as it seems around here!

The Senior Men (me) start at 12pm (10pm NZT) and the winner is expected to take 55mins so we will see how close I can get to that 🙂
