This weekend I will be representing New Zealand in an Orienteering Test Match against Australia in the Wellington Region. The weekend also doubles as the final round of the SILVA Super Series (currently 2nd). So I will be fighting hard to beat the Aussies first and foremost while battling it out in the SILVA Super Series to maintain and hopefully challenge for the lead. However I believe it is only by a mathematical chance that I could win from here so its all about running consistently and focused. There is 3 races, a Sprint, long and loops races which should suit me down to a T and Judging by my speed this evening, I’m all set in that respect, it’s now just down to bringing the nav and the mental side of things together and I’ll be sweet. The perfect start to my European Campaign which is set to kick off in 3 weeks time! 🙂 (more to come about that later!)
The weekend ahead…
